January Issue Now Available

Dear Reader,

As we conclude this sort of chaotic year for our world and our activity, it’s encouraging that all the drum corps have taken this opportunity to create educational and instructional videos to share with those contracted members who planned to march the 2020 season, along with more young people who expressed an interest and participated in “virtual” and on-line programs.

The recent announcement by Drum Corps International that there will be some exciting events in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium is great news for participants and fans.  It means the “pause” has lasted only for 2020 and at least there will be some performances to see in mid-August.  Here’s hoping nearly all the World and Open Class corps are able to make the trip to Indiana.

At this point we haven’t heard news from around the rest of the drum corps world, but we’re pulling for those groups to get up and running in some form during this year as we head to what will hopefully be the “new normal” for the summer of 2022.

News from DCI will continue to be shared in this publication as well as on all the forms of social media that are available to keep everyone up-to-date!

As always, every organization needs volunteers to help, even from a distance and, of course, donations that help all the corps keep moving forward.  Help in any that you can . . .
