PepperSpray Productions is proud to present the world premiere screening of two of the most important films about Iraq that you may ever see: "Eyewitness in Iraq: Dahr Jamail, an Unembedded Report," and "Testimonies From Falluja."

"Eyewitness in Iraq," produced by PepperSpray, presents a first-hand account of the realities of life and death in a country ravaged by an unjust war. Dahr Jamail, an independent journalist, has spent over 8 months in Iraq covering the war in order to provide the news that mainstream US media and journalists embedded with the US military are not telling you.

This unique film combines exclusive interviews and photographs with footage of Dahr Jamail’s recent Seattle presentations. Jamail takes on the dire medical situation in Iraq, US sponsored "democratic" elections, what really happened in the besieged city of Falluja, the lack of accountability for US corporations rebuilding Iraq, and the importance of average people getting involved in the struggle to end the war. The film includes music by Seattle’s own Infernal Noise Brigade. For more information and to view the preview:

"Testimonies From Falluja" is an Al-Qitaf Production and was created in Iraq by independent Iraqi journalists. This unique film presents interviews with refugees fleeing from Falluja, a city devastated by the United States Army’s endless siege. These incredible eyewitness accounts, together with exclusive footage and photographs from inside the occupied city, give a raw and honest portrayal of life in the heart of war. While the US continues to obstruct journalists from documenting the horror of Falluja, this video provides a rare opportunity for information you won’t get anywhere else, and supports independent voices within Iraq.
