At last the mystery is solved!

Hats off to Haider al-Abadi.  The State of Law MP has cracked the mystery of the political crisis.  Who knew it was even a mystery until the investigative work of al-Abadi?

Iraq's very own Miss Marple has used something other than inductive or deductive reasoning to figure the nasty plot out.  In fact, to arrive at his conclusions, al-Abadi gladly tossed reasoning completely out the window.

Al Sumaria reports that al-Abadi publicly declared yesterday that KRG President Massoud Barzani is attempting to weaken the central government of Baghdad and that his motivation for doing so is to cover up for all the oil that the KRG is funneling to Iran.   Furthermore, al-Abadi explained that Iraqiya and Moqtada al-Sadr stand to gain as well so they're going along with Barzani.

Stand to gain as well?  al-Abadi has yet to crack that aspect of the puzzle, but he's on it.  By golly, he's on it.

And it will take a mind like al-Abadi to get to the bottom of it.  Already he's figured out that the call by the KRG for a return to the Erbil Agreement which began in the summer of 2011 was just a ruse.  In fact, even the disputes over Article 140 and Kirkuk itself are all a diversion to hide the truth.  Those clever Kurds.  But al-Abadi saw through it.  Of all Nouri's Dunces, he stands out.

Once upon a time there were many little exiles
al-Abadi fled to London
Now he's back and he works for Nouri

Courage to Resist notes the following action in support of Bradley Manning this month:

Descend upon Chicago for Bradley Manning!
Sunday, May 20, 2012
Grant Park, Chiago IL

At the invitation of the White House, military and civilian representatives of the 28-nation US-commanded and largely US-financed North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) are meeting in Chicago, May 20-21, 2012. This is the same military apparatus responsible for waging over 10 years of unjust and illegal wars in our names, committing war crimes exposed by the Wikileaks revelations and persecuting one of the most influential whistle blowers of our generation, Bradley Manning.
Join us in Chicago as we say Free Bradley Manning! and no to NATO's war and poverty agenda!

The Free Bradley Manning contingent will meet in Chicago IL, at the south entrance of Butler Field in Grant Park, (which is on E Jackson dr, between S Lake Shore dr and S Columbus dr) at 11:00am for the rally and march to McCormick Place on Sunday, May 20, 2012. Look for the massive black and white Free Bradley Manning banner.

Nobel Peace Prize nominee PFC Bradley Manning, a 24-year-old, openly gay, Army intelligence analyst is facing life in prison and has been held in pre-trial confinement without a court martial for over two years! He endured torture and was held in solitary confinement for the first 10 months of his incarceration. He is accused of releasing the Collateral Murder video, that shows the killing of unarmed civilians and two Reuters journalists, by a US Apache helicopter crew in Iraq. He is also accused of sharing the Afghan War Diary, the Iraq War Logs, and series of embarrassing US diplomatic cables. These documents were published by the anti-secrecy website WikiLeaks, and they have illuminated such issues as the true number and cause of civilian casualties in Iraq, along with a number of human rights abuses by U.S.-funded contractors and foreign militaries, and the role that spying and bribes play in international diplomacy. Given the war crimes exposed, if PFC Bradley Manning was the source for these documents, he should be given a medal of honor not locked up for life.
