Hejira

National Iraqi News Agency notes that Iraqi TV reported that the Iraqi government announced two Iraqi women were seized with cars to be used for suicide bombings.

Wow.  Well when you lie, you get slapped upside the face with reality.

As we were noting on Thursday, the State Dept's Brett McGurk lied to Congress, told the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa that these suicide bombers in Iraq?  They were foreigners.  And they were men.  It was about a lack of jobs and young men watching YouTube -- I swear he trotted YouTube, I have my notes, we can quote him in full if needed -- and no job so they can't be mechanics so they decide to be suicide bombers and head for Iraq.

That's an interesting lie.

One that makes it appear the bombers have something other than Nouri al-Maliki and his oppressive policies on their minds.

It's one of many lies the State Dept seems to forever tell in order to cover for Nouri.

See, no Iraqi would ever want to be a suicide bomber.  No, it's just those damn foreigners who want to see Nouri defeated.

What a load of crap.

National Iraqi News Agency reports a Tikrit armed attack left two police officers and one bystander injured,  a Mosul bombing left 2 Iraqi soldiers dead and four more injured, the Iraqi military shot dead 3 suspects outside of Baghdad, 2 homes in Hamam al-Ali were blown up leavine 2 sisters dead, 2 people were kidnapped in Kirkuk on Sunday (two brothers were kidnapped on Saturday), a Tarmiya roadside bombing claimed the life of 1 Iraqi soldier and left another and two bystanders injured, a  Mada'ain home invasion left Sahwa commander Ahmed Farhood's brother dead, a Ramadi roadside bombing left two police members injured,  a Falluja roadside bombing left one police officer injured, a Baghdad car bombing (Karadeh area) claimed 2 lives and left five people injured,  a Baghdad car bombing in an auto repair shop (Husseiniya area) left 1 person dead and another injured, a Baghdad car bombing (Ghadeer area) left one person injured, a Baghdad car bombing (Doura area, near a grocery store) left 2 people dead and five more injured,  a Baghdad Sadr City bombing left 3 people dead and seven injured, a northern Baghdad car bombing claimed 4 lives and left eleven people injured, 2 more Baghdad bombings left 5 people dead and sixteen injured, and multiple bombings in Tuz Kurmato left 21 people dead and forty more injured.

Check my math, but I'm counting 51 dead  and 110 injured.

No one in the press will point it out but this is the result of Nouri's terrorizing the Sunni population (Human Rights Watch noted this in their Friday release).  His fake arrests and false detentions just pour gasoline on the fire he already started.
