A fire raged through Baghdad’s largest ballot storage site on Sunday, just days after parliament ordered a recount of May’s election results.

Strange, isn't it?

The United Nations didn't see any problems with the vote.  They didn't see any fraud.  They didn't see any miscount.

Who did?

Losers.

Who benefits from the fires?

Not the militias.  The militias came in second.  Not Moqtada al-Sadr, his bloc came in first.

It was the Hayder al-Abadis and the Nouri al-Malikis that didn't do well.

Did they set the fires?  Did they order someone to set the fires?  Did some people wanting to see Nouri and Hayder do better set the fires?

Who knows.

But the US government wasn't thrilled with the results.

Brett hasn't Tweeted a word about the fire.

Does he not know about it?

Or is he just attempting to avoid bragging?

Who knows?

Meanwhile, the crap that is/was the CIA are having a hissy fit.

Mr. Trump, stare at this photo and think of the 2,000 Canadian soldiers wounded and 200 brought home in caskets from Iraq and Afghanistan. They were supporting U.S troops there. For once, apologize to Canada for your remarks. Man up.

When we need help, the Canadians are there. Afghanistan. Iraq. No bone spurs. They just came.

Oh, goody, let me play CIA trash that pretends to be patriotic.  (Disclosure, in college, the CIA tried to recruit me.  I said no because I don't believe in destroying lives.  That's also why I still haven't named the name professor -- he is known -- who worked to steer students to the CIA.)

So Donald Trump insulted the leader of Canada?

Good!

Where were those trashy Canooks during Vietnam?  They weren't buddies enough to go into Vietnam with us!!!!

And don't say it's the past because the current prime minister is the son of the prime minister then -- who gave US draft dodgers AND military deserters sanctuary in Canada.

If they hadn't done those two things, we would have won Vietnam!  Blast those Canadians!

There, love to say that was fun, but it wasn't.

But it is the same kind of 'logic' CIA trash keeps Tweeting.

CIA trash.  Always trying to con a people, this time Americans.  They really should be kicked off social media.  In better days, the US government wouldn't allow propaganda like that to be aimed at US citizens.

Remember, it was the CIA and other US 'intelligence' agencies that, after WWII, gave jobs to at least a thousand Nazis.  Eric Lichtblau (NEW YORK TIMES), October 26, 2014:

In the decades after World War II, the C.I.A. and other United States agencies employed at least a thousand Nazis as Cold War spies and informants and, as recently as the 1990s, concealed the government’s ties to some still living in America, newly disclosed records and interviews show.
At the height of the Cold War in the 1950s, law enforcement and intelligence leaders like J. Edgar Hoover at the F.B.I. and Allen Dulles at the C.I.A. aggressively recruited onetime Nazis of all ranks as secret, anti-Soviet “assets,” declassified records show. They believed the ex-Nazis’ intelligence value against the Russians outweighed what one official called “moral lapses” in their service to the Third Reich.

One of these 'beauties' was still around in the 90s, he was in Boston, and the CIA pressured a government attorney to drop the case against him even though the man was "implicated in the Nazis massacre of tens of thousands of Jews in Lithuania."

That tells you everything you need to know about the CIA and it's 'character.'

Those who rounded up and killed Jews were rewarded by the US government, were given jobs and protection by the US government, when they should have been on trial for War Crimes.

That tells you everything you need to know about the CIA.

But read Lichtblau's article in full, discover passages like the following:

One SS officer, Otto von Bolschwing, was a mentor and top aide to Adolf Eichmann, architect of the “Final Solution,” and wrote policy papers on how to terrorize Jews.

Yet after the war, the C.I.A. not only hired him as a spy in Europe, but relocated him and his family to New York City in 1954, records show. The move was seen as a “a reward for his loyal postwar service and in view of the innocuousness of his [Nazi] party activities,” the agency wrote.

The CIA's actions are, at the worst, War Crimes and, at best, crimes of moral turpitude.

In forty years, we'll learn of how many al Qaeda and ISIS members the CIA has paid and worked with.  That's built into their so-called character.
