    It’s almost as if lots of people understandably hate the current corporate-run system that threatens them with bankruptcy anytime they get sick.
    Something to think about: most polls show a majority support Medicare for All, even tho pollsters often only tell respondents negative messages (“eliminates your private insurance”) and don’t tell them positive messages (“guarantees you get to keep your same doctor & is cheaper”)

    Personal admission: I have a very low tolerance for bullshitters and bullshit — especially the bullshit that we’re expected to pretend is not bullshit, but everyone clearly knows is complete bullshit. Interestingly, this character trait was helpful to me in my journalism work.

    This is a line from the campaign whose McKinsey candidate wants you to believe that blocking tuition-free college is the best way to help poor people. I give these folks credit: they are good at saying genuinely absurd things with a straight face. That takes real skill.

    Whomst among us does not love a system that will instantly bankrupt your family if you or a loved one gets sick?
    How anyone can bump into any part of the American health care system and its insistence that every single portion of your interaction with it be monetized, and then come away with conclusion other than the urgent need for Medicare for All is beyond me.
