There's no comment in the Tweet above on the kingdom of Jordan, nor is Jordan mentioned in the article the Tweet links to. I have no idea why, the kingdom did congratulate Joe.  


Equally true, the KRG congratulated Joe as well.  NRT reports:

A number of Kurdish and Iraqi government and political leaders congratulated the US President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on winning the US elections after passing the entailing 270 electoral votes needed out of the 530 electors.

Biden’s victory in the battleground state of Pennsylvania terminated four days of nail-biting suspense and pushed his supporters into the streets of major cities in celebration.

“I congratulate @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris . I look forward to continuing the close, strong cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and the US. Our partnership is crucial to regional stability and prosperity,” the Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani tweeted.


The election was called for Joe by US media this morning.  I have no idea whether that call will prove to be right or not.  In 2000, we were able to wait until December 12th -- we should have waited longer and Gore would have been president, but the world didn't end.  I don't think it would have ended today.  All votes need to be counted.  The US loses either way -- Trump or Biden.
