Bette Davis movie marathon on TCM

This morning at 6:00 am EST, TCM begins a Bette Davis movie marathon.


Things kick off with MARKED WOMAN (with Humphrey Bogart), then WINTER MEETING, THE CORN IS GREEN (one of five films she made with director Irving Rapper), THE OLD MAID (with Miriam Hopkins and George Brent),  A STOLEN LIFE (first time Bette Davis played twin sisters in a film, first and only time she produced a film she starred in), POCKETFUL OF MIRACLES (with Peter Falk and Ann-Margaret), THE BRIDE CAME C.O.D. (with James Cagney and Jack Carson), JEZEBEL (Bette Davis won her second Academy Award for this film, it's of three films she made with director William Wyler, with Henry Fonda and George Brent), ALL THIS AND HEAVEN TOO (with Charles Boyer, directed by Anatole Litvak, the third husband of Miriam Hopkins, one of two films Litvak directed Bette Davis in), WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE? (Bette Davis' last Academy Award nominated role, co-stars with Joan Crawford), THE STAR (Natalie Wood plays Bette's daughter in this film and Bette was nominated for an Academy Award for this film) and SATAN MET A LADY (an early version of THE MALTESE FALCON).
