In Assange Segment, BBC News Anchor Is Rather Hostile To Press Freedom Campaigner

 Kevin Gosztola breaks down a segment that aired on BBC News hours after the British High Court granted the United States government's appeal in Julian Assange's extradition case. BBC News anchor Geeta Guru-Murthy interviewed Rebecca Vincent, the international campaigns director for Reporters Without Borders (RSF).

RSF is one of the leading press freedom organizations demanding an end to the prosecution of Assange, but rather than constructively engage with concerns over the latest development, Guru-Murthy opened the segment with her guest by saying, "Mr. Assange is going to have to face justice in the U.S., isn't he?" and spent the segment repeating prosecutors' talking points
