We're thrilled to be partnering with the Monterey Jazz Festival, Cured Vinyl and The Sound Garden to bring a record store to the grounds of the historic festival, which kicks off YEAR 67 TODAY!   There's a Cali-cool jazz episode of the Record Store Day Podcast, featuring one of this year's most anticipated performers at Monterey Jazz Fest, SAMARA JOY.  The episode also features a wide-ranging conversation with MJF Artistic Director DARIN ATWATER and owner of The Sound Garden, BRYAN BURKERT about the state of jazz, the word 'jazz' and why vinyl and a place to buy it belongs at the Festival.  We hit The Road to Monterey this year and along the way we stopped at some record stores to find out a little bit more about what record stores and this festival have in common.
