Americans die, Chump golfs

UPI notes, "Fighting between the United States and Iran-backed Houthi militants appeared to intensify on Sunday, after the U.S. military killed more than 50 people in Yemen with airstrikes a day prior."  With a whoop and holler, Susan "Medea" Benjamin stopped finger herself and sighed "Donald" in her post orgasm after glow.  Remember, that piece of trash has been using her Twitter account to praise Donald Chump.  She's an idiot, she's a racist and she's a piece of trash.  She's not the only idiot or racist piece of trash.  She joined with many others who worked to defeat Kamala Harris' presidential campaign.  She helped deliver us to hell.  And it didn't work out for the Palestinians either (as many Palestinians knew it wouldn't which is why they spoke out before the election).  Ibrahim Dahman and Billy Stockwell (CNN) report, "At least nine people have been killed and several others injured in an Israeli strike in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, the enclave’s health ministry said, making it the deadliest incident since a ceasefire went into effect in January."

Be great if tomorrow saw protests about that.  I mean, we're not a nation of navel gazers, right?  We wouldn't waste a day of protests on a single person when you've got the above and Donald Chump's deportations of hundreds of Venezuelans, right?

We're not that pathetic, are we?

Certainly we would care about the hundreds just deported, right?  And Johan Bastidas who was deported just a little while before.  AP explains:

Jhoan Bastidas was deported from the United States and spent 16 days at the U.S. naval base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, watched by cameras and eating small meals that left him hungry.

“I was locked up all day in a little room — I counted the feet: 7 wide and 13 long — without being able to do anything, without a book, looking at the walls,” Bastidas, 25, said in his father’s middle-class home in the western city of Maracaibo, Venezuela.

Thursday, BLOOMBERG NEWS reported, "The US on Friday will resume deportation flights to Venezuela that its government had halted after President Donald Trump’s decision to revoke Chevron Corp.’s license to operate in the country, an American official said."  AFP reports:

US District Judge James E. Boasberg issued an order Saturday blocking the deportations but lawyers told him there were already two planes with immigrants in the air — one headed for El Salvador, the other for Honduras. Boasberg verbally ordered the planes be turned around, but they apparently were not and he did not include the directive in his written order.

“Oopsie…Too late,” Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, a Trump ally who agreed to house about 300 immigrants for a year at a cost of $6 million in his country’s prisons, wrote on the social media site X above an article about Boasberg’s ruling. That post was recirculated by White House communications director Steven Cheung.

Meanwhile, many died in the US due to extreme weather -- including tornadoes.

While that took place, the Orange Menace spent the weekend in Florida golfing Julia Ornedo (THE DAILY BEAST) reports:

Hours after he celebrated his championship win in a “fun” golfing tournament, President Donald Trump called for prayers for the dozens of Americans killed after a violent storm system wreaked havoc across multiple states.

Late Sunday afternoon, Trump announced on Truth Social that he clinched the championship title in a tournament held at the Florida golf course he owns: “Such a great honor! The Awards dinner is tonight, at the Club. I want to thank the wonderful Golf Staff, and all of the many fantastic golfers, that participated in the event. Such fun!”

By then, multiple people across the country had died from tornadoes, dust storms, and wildfires that were driven by a severe storm system that ravaged the south and the midwest. The death toll stood at 40 as of Sunday evening, while at least 100 were injured and hundreds of thousands more were left without power.
