Alex Pretti, the latest murdered by Chump and his gestapo

Another day of Chump in the White House, another bad day for democracy as Chump and his ICE goons murder another American citizens out in the open on the street.  No pretense at all though the liar JD Vince will no doubt yet again lie to people to assure them that what everyone saw didn't actually happen. Rylee Kirk (NEW YORK TIMES) reports:

Federal agents in Minneapolis on Saturday fatally shot a 37-year-old man, the second person to be shot and killed in the city during a ramped-up immigration enforcement effort by the Trump administration, the authorities said.

At least two other people have been shot by federal law enforcement agents in Minneapolis this month — one in the leg and another, Renee Good, 37, in the head, killing her.

After Ms. Good’s death on Jan. 7, protests have taken place in the city, raising tensions with federal agents. State and local officials have called for federal agents to leave the city.


Chump's goon Greg Bovino, who enjoys dressing up in Nazi drag,  is quoted.  We don't quote known liars nor should anyone.  When you lie repeatedly, you destroy your own credibility and the need for anyone to take you seriously.  Among the lies that he and Kristi Noem tell?  The dead man was holding a gun.  Lie.  They always lie.  Kirk notes, "Footage of the encounter shows the man was holding a phone in his hand, not a gun, when federal agents took him to the ground and shot him. There was no evidence that the man who was fatally shot opened fire."


Get it?  He was killed for holding a 'deadly' cell phone.  Murdered by the US government.  By incompetent Border Patrol and ICE staff.  Killers let loose on the public.  


Kirk notes:

The authorities did not publicly identify the man who was killed but colleagues and a senior law enforcement official identified the man as Alex Jeffrey Pretti.

A colleague, Dimitri Drekonja, said Mr. Pretti worked in the intensive-care unit at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Minneapolis.

Chief O’Hara of the Minneapolis police said at a news conference that the person who was shot was a 37-year-old man who lived in Minneapolis and was an American citizen.

The man had no criminal record and had a permit to carry a gun, Chief O’Hara said. Minnesota law allows citizens with a permit to carry handguns in public without concealment.

Judging by CNN's report from Thomas Bordeaux, Yahya Abou-Ghazala and Casey Tolan, the gun Alex had was in his waist band, not his hand and The Gestapo saw it as they assaulted him.  What he was holding, when they murdered him, was a cell phone, "At no point in any of the videos reviewed by CNN can Pretti be seen wielding a weapon; he is seen carrying a cellphone in one hand earlier in the encounter."    It's a fact that Eduardo Cuevas (USA TODAY) also notes, "Videos do not show Pretti wielding a gun."  Curtis Yee, Pamela Sampson, Bridget Brown, Peter Orsi and Nell Clark (AP) also point out that despite the lies from DHS' Tricia McLaughlin, "Several bystander videos of the shooting emerged soon after. Pretti is seen with a phone in his hand, but no videos appear to show him with a visible weapon."  And Aaron Blake (CNN) also notes, "Pretti was armed -- he had a permit to carry the gun, per the Minneapolis police chief --  and engaged in a scuffle after agents sprayed toward him with a chemical irritant. But no evidence has emerged to support the accusation that he was trying to kill them, and nothing in the videos we’ve seen so far shows him touching his weapon."

The whore who stole taxpayer money Tricia McLaughlin with DHS -- a known liar -- lies that the nurse was waiving around the gun -- the same one that the gestapo is on tape pulling out of his waist band before they murder him.  She's a whore.  And she and her whore husband need to return the US taxpayers' money that they illegally and unethically 'received' (stole).  For those who missed the unethical and illegal grift, refer to this letter to Noem from US House Reps Bennie G Thompson and Robert Garcia:

Dear Secretary Noem:

We write again concerning the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) misuse of tax payerfunds, this time on an advertising campaign that includes campaign pictures of President Trump and his private real estate holdings and footage of you attempting to herd cattle. On November 14,2025, ProPublica reported that on the second day of the government shutdown, you filmed yet another taxpayer-funded commercial featuring yourself and promoting an overtly political message. Alarmingly, the shoot was reportedly run by the Strategy Group, a Republican consulting firm that played a key role in your campaign when you ran for governor of South Dakota in 2022.The Strategy Group received a lucrative state contract after you were reelected and was being paid by your political action committee up until a few days before your Department issued the $200million limited competition contract that has secretly enriched the firm.1 Raising further questions of corruption and unethical conduct, your close confidant and top DHS adviser, Corey Lewandowski, has worked extensively with the Strategy Group’s CEO, Ben Yoho, who is also the husband of your Department’s Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, Tricia McLaughlin.2

This latest commercial is yet another example of how DHS evades the competitive bidding process to flow money to friends of Trump Administration officials. We wrote you on March 21, 2025,when you first awarded the ad campaign contract -- now valued up to $240 million3 --to Republican campaign consultants close to Mr. Lewandowski.4 We asked you to address the apparent blatant misuse of American tax dollars and provide information and documents pertaining to such misuse. On May 12, 2025, you responded to our letter claiming the “common-sense ads"

followed all proper procedures, but you provided no evidence.5 We fail to see any common sense in your apparently blatant evasion of the competitive bidding requirements that protect taxpayer dollars from corruption and abuse, instead engaging in cowboy cosplay and lining your friends' pockets at the taxpayer's expense during a government shutdown. Your travel arrangements for this trip raise further questions, as you also decided it was necessary to purchase two "lavish" Gulfstream G700 private jets and deemed this extravagant transaction qualified to take place during the government shutdown.6 Please provide documentation for the method of travel for you and any other DHS employees to South Dakota for this promotional event. We request that you immediately respond to the requests in our March 21, 2025, letter, all of which remain unanswered.

In addition, please provide all communications between DHS officials, including yourself and Mr. Lewandowski, and anyone associated with the Strategy Group or Safe America Media, from the date you took office until the date that you produce these records to us. The Committee on Homeland Security is the principal committee of the House of Representatives with jurisdiction over the Department of Homeland Security. The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is the principal oversight committee of the House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.

The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform also has legislative jurisdiction over the overall economy, efficiency, and management of government operations and activities, including federal procurement.  When this corruption takes place, is exposed and continues, these same corrupt officials -- the henchmen of Convicted Felon Donald Chump, believe they can get away with anything -- including murder.  Ryan Paris and Addie McCabe (KTTC) add:

Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension held a press conference regarding the events.

Superintendent Drew Evans told reporters that the BCA was blocked from accessing the scene by federal agents, preventing the agency from gathering evidence.

The BCA also secured a warrant to access the crime scene from a judge, but BCA investigators were still blocked from the scene. 

2:20 PM - According to the Associated Press, the man fatally shot by federal officers in Minneapolis was ICU nurse Alex Pretti. 


Alex Pretti.  Murdered by his own government and its henchmen.   THE GUARDIAN notes:


  • The man who was killed by federal agents on Saturday has been identified as Alex Pretti, 37, a registered nurse working in the intensive care unit at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System.

  • A video circulating online on Saturday morning, which matches the reported location of the shooting mentioned by the officials, showed a man being wrestled to the ground by several law enforcement officers before being shot what appears to be several times. At least two officers can be seen with their weapons drawn.

  • In a second, more comprehensive video of the shooting, obtained and posted online by Drop Site News, Pretti appeared to come to the defense of an observer who had been shoved to the ground by a federal officer. That officer then sprayed Pretti with a chemical agent, repeatedly, before tackling him to the street along with other agents.

  • At least five agents surrounded Pretti on the ground, and one appeared to fire a shot at him at close range. The shot was followed by a volley of more shots, after which Pretti’s body goes still. The visual evidence in the second video seems consistent with the interpretation that a gun appeared to have been taken away by one agent just before another shot him.

  • Minneapolis police chief Brian O’Hara later said during a press conference on Saturday that Pretti’s only known previous interaction with law enforcement was for traffic tickets. O’Hara also noted Pretti was “a lawful gun owner with a permit to carry”.

  • [Edited to remove the remarks of Bovino who, again, is a known liar.]

  • It’s the second fatal shooting this month in Minneapolis, in addition to another non-fatal shooting, amid a major crackdown in Minnesota by federal agents. Officials urged people to “remain peaceful and recognize there is a lot of anger and questions around what has happened”.

  • Protesters were heard calling “shame, shame” at officers after Pretti’s shooting, blowing whistles and shouting for ICE to leave the city. The agents responded with teargas and flash-bang grenades.

  • Minneapolis’s mayor, Jacob Frey, called on Donald Trump to “end this operation” of federal immigration enforcement agents and officers surging into Minneapolis, and demanded that the US president “take action now to remove these federal agents”. At the same press conference, police chief Brian O’Hara acknowledged immense anger in the city at the shooting but pleaded for calm.

  • Minnesota’s governor, Tim Walz, has staged national guard troops ready to help in keeping order in Minneapolis as protest and outrage at violent conduct by federal immigration personnel continue. Walz had activated them earlier in January, putting them under his orders to be ready if needed. Staging essentially means gathering and preparing to be on the streets. Initially, some troops are going to guard a federal building.

  • Walz called the operation of immigration enforcement that has surged into Minneapolis a “federal occupation”. He said he had seen bystander footage of the fatal shooting of Pretti and said it was “sickening”.


They murdered him.  They need to be off the streets.  They are a threat to the American people.  Congress needs to stand the up for the American people right now.  This is something that's not supposed to happen in the United States, in any democracy.

Chump's a crook and he not's going to protect the American people.  Aaron Blake (CNN) notes Chump is doing the same thing he did with Renee:

For one, the administration has again leapt to defend the federal agents involved and attack the person killed in ways that are premature and strain credulity, at best. 

As with Good, the administration has painted Pretti as not just causing the agents to fear for their lives, but as deliberately targeting them for death.
