Ohio has 37 confirmed cases; DeWine has ordered — not just suggested — statewide school closures, bans on gatherings of 100+ people, and now this.

A robust Medicare for All system would put us in a much stronger position to deal with a pandemic. Our current for-profit system will price people out of testing and treatment, meaning faster spread and more deaths. Continuing to deny this obvious fact is a recipe for a disaster.

M4A wouldn’t prevent a pandemic. Really dumb tweet.
I mean, seriously: any person in public life who used their platform to focus the media discourse on the civility of emojis or the tone of tweets to C-Span videos even as a lethal pandemic spread across the world -- you should be ashamed, and history will never, ever forget.

50 million people live in 7 states whose governments are controlled by Dems but whose governments dont have paid sick leave laws. This is unacceptable. These laws should be passed immediately in EVERY state. The Democratic Party has the power to help 50 million people right now. twitter.com/davidsirota/st
