We put the entire April issue online for free


When we wrapped up the latest print issue of In These Times just three weeks ago, the word "coronavirus" was only just beginning to appear in most people's lives. How quickly things change.
Frankly, we were worried that this issue might seem out of place by the time it arrived in subscribers' homes -- but the other day we received this heart-warming note from a reader:
"I just wanna say the new issue of In These Times has given me a weird sense of normalcy I haven’t felt in what feels like forever."
In that spirit, today we've made the entire April issue available online for everyone to read, for free. You can see the full list of stories below.
I hope some of these stories provide you with a brief respite from today's news -- while also serving as a reminder of some of the many pressing issues that still deserve our attention.
