But just this week, our volunteers helped Boston ban secret police surveillance, and just last year we helped end an abusive part of the PATRIOT Act that had been used as legal cover for mass surveillance of Americans. We really can work together to stop the surveillance state, and we do work together to rein in facial recognition, fusion centers, civil asset forfeitures and more.
