There is such confusion among left-liberals. They can correctly condemn Trump's coziness with Brazil's Bolsonaro because of his neo-fascist politics but fail to recognize that the elements Trump is supporting in Venezuela represent same neo-fascist class forces.

On the Afro-Venezolanism Day, we commemorate 224 years of the liberation struggle led by the zambo Jose Leonardo Chirino together with our afrodescendants, who heroically fought a battle against slavery. Long live liberty, equality and Justice!

And the stupid American Government in it's consistent breaking of the Vienna Convention gives a tacit approval for any country to violate American Embassies anywhere in the world.

Much like the UK's invasion of the Ecuadorian Embassy to kidnap Julian at our behest.

The Americans within the embassy are guests of the Venezuelan Government thus they have every right to be there. The host nation has the responsibility of protecting the inviolability of an embassy within its territory, a task the US has made a mockery of.
  13. The police cut power and now water to the Venezuelan embassy. Cops and Secret Service helped the Guaido thugs. They allowed assaults, thefts and damage to the property. All in violation of international law.
  14. Reminder for those of you in NYC.

US & their UK counterparts have made it quite clear for a number of years that they don't answer to international law or norms or UN Charters or Treaties. They're only good for when they want to turn them on anyone not bending to their will. 1930s Europe on a global scale.
  16. This is the newest B.S. from team Guaido and their friends in corporate media. "A member of Guaido's team told Diaz that they are in touch with Russian officials, which Guaidó confirmed."
  17. "it may have been no more than 25 men in uniform who defected in support of Guaidó" On the day of the Bolton/Pompeo cockamamie coup attempt I never thought that Maduro or his government were in any danger. I was right. tells the story.
  18. Last night I posted a humorous meme about Hugo Chavez and a play on words with Hugo Boss. I was unaware that Hugo Boss was a member of the Nazi party and made uniforms for Hitler's government. Now I know. I deleted the tweet.
