Workers from over 37 countries participate in 2019 May Day Rally

From the WSWS:

On Saturday, May 4, the International Committee of the Fourth International held its 2019 International May Day Online Rally.

Hundreds of workers and youth from over 37 different countries participated in the event.

The powerful response to the rally is one more indication of the growing support for socialism around the world. It reflects the immense opposition that exists among workers and youth in every country to inequality, militarism, and the growth of far right.

As David North stated in his opening report, “The task of the Fourth International is not only to interpret the world, but to change it.” This fight requires the broadest participation of all sections of the working class across the globe.

I urge all those who listened to the reports and who agree with the perspective put forward to make the decision to join the SEP today.
