My dad struggled with alcoholism and I know the difference treatment made for him and my family. Everyone deserves that same chance. We must invest in addiction treatment and mental health care — and the pharmaceutical companies that caused this problem should pay for it.

The President's immigration proposal continues to fail DREAMers, does not address our refugees and asylum seekers and provides no path to citizenship. This plan is far from comprehensive — what we need is comprehensive immigration reform that moves our country & economy forward.
