My friend Larry Cohen wrote this opposing view in USA Today. “The voters I spoke to at these events are fighting for change. They want an economy that puts workers first...” I’m sure many agree with his experience. Add your voice to the poll question.

Sad news today. True story. I asked to borrow his favorite book so we’d have to talk again. My ploy worked, and it was an incredible book.

mass media serves corporate agendas. they're now (begrudgingly) touting the ascendancy of our candidate and we shouldn't trust it. not out of irrational paranoia but based on logic: they want us to rest, gloat, taunt, high five and back pat. we have to keep organizing.

Bill Greider was a great great man. He lived a fantastic and admirable life. His light will shine as an example for many many years to come. Farther than you can imagine. A beacon in a dark age.
  • Awful news. Bill was one of my heroes. A story I told him: I was on a 1st date with a woman who asked me for a book rec. I said my fave was “Who Will Tell the People.” She borrowed it. I used the excuse of asking for it back to call her again. Shes my wife

Personal request: Please pitch in whatever you can — this grassroots money goes to help progressive candidates who are fighting to prevent the GOP from taking over this critical swing state. And please retweet to spread the word!
  • It's good that news outlets are acknowledging ' surge in the polls. However, the corporate elite will do all they can to try to beat us. We cant be complacent & we cant be demoralized when they inevitably attack us. If we keep fighting, we will win. Onward.
  • Vice News on new polls: “Compared to all his rivals Sanders is perceived as uniquely trustworthy, empathetic, and in tune with the issues that matter most by voters nationally.” Read about it in today’s Bern Notice — and subscribe & retweet.

This is so great. Bloomberg doesn't need to do high-dollar fundraisers but he lacks understanding of how to talk to actual voters, so he's doing high-dollar fundraisers anyway, without the funding.

  • These photos are 20 years apart. I appear to have aged about 50 years, Bernie appears to have aged maybe 5 years. This raises an obvious question: is Bernie is The Highlander?
